The Invisible Load of Motherhood
Greeting again! I hope the holiday season is going wonderful for many of you. My family and I travelled to Drenthe for our vacation to Hof van Saksen. It was wonderful for the children, tones of stuff for them to do even in this period in time. The park is well equipped both inside and outdoor activities on site so you didn’t need to leave the grounds even. For us the parents there were also quite some things to do from swimming, spa, pedicures, manicures and there was also a beach within the grounds. Their cottages were amazing too. Spacious and they were spaces out so well that you couldn’t tell if the park was full or not. Many of the grounds were very natural and inviting too
I have been talking about this news on my own IG account mostly, but in June I started a Podcast to share the many discussions and also offer a platform for real lived experiences to be shared.
I started recording my weekly Clubhouse rooms; Layers Within and Naomie’s LIVE podcast directly from the app. If you are on clubhouse and you would like to come in the room and listen without engaging, you are very welcome. We start hosting (myself and Andrea or Dr Doula) from the 6th September
This attached here is from the room when we gathered to discuss this topic that can be somewhat touchy. Many women or parents continue and stay in the now because of so many things. Judgement even amongst those you know is rife and sad too. In this room there was some insights shared. I hope they can be of use for you
Many of the ladies and gentlemen who join the rooms come to share and learn the real-lived-life experiences. There is so much power in sharing these stories
Please have a listen and then leave a comment on how you found the discussion. We would love your feedback and contribution so that we know the kinds of topics that entice you and how to create our rooms further from September as we prepare for the next phases in all our homes, children are moving to the next groups/classes. The seasons will be getting ready to change too and therefore listening to podcasts will be even more inviting
As always, continue to stay safe and until next time
xNaomie
