What happens after you contact me?
Reaching out is the first step in preparing for a calm and supported postpartum period.
Once you contact me, this is what usually happens:
1️⃣ 📅 Availability check
I confirm whether I am available around your expected due date.
2️⃣ 🤝🤝🏾 Kennismakingsgesprek
We schedule a short kennismakingsgesprek where we discuss your wishes for the kraamweek and how I work. If my schedule is busy, we can also meet through a video call.
3️⃣ 📝 Registration and preparation
If we feel we are a good match, we complete the registration and prepare together for the postpartum period.
4️⃣ 👶👶🏾 Support during your kraamweek
After the birth, I support your family at home while working closely with your midwife according to Dutch kraamzorg guidelines.
If you are expecting a baby and would like calm, experienced support during your kraamweek, you are warmly welcome to reach out.

Because I support a limited number of families each month, early contact is recommended.
Many families register for kraamzorg early in pregnancy to secure support after birth.
Many couples prefer to reach out after the 12-week scan.
Because I work with a limited number of families each month to provide calm and dedicated care, I recommend reaching out during the first or second trimester whenever possible.
Early contact also allows time for a kennismakingsgesprek where we can discuss your wishes for the postpartum period and how I collaborate with your midwife during the kraamweek.

Booking Kraamzorg demands that you ALSO cancel your booking so that the Kraamzorg can make space for other clients that need her support. Not cancelling on time has consequences
